Governor Abbott has declared a State of Disaster for several Counties, including Hill County, from the recent storms that started on April 26th, 2024.
Any citizen with damage, namely uninsured, or debris, are encouraged to report this to the State of Texas via the following link: Click Here – TDEM iSTAT Form
You will be prompted to download an app and then will be able to fill out a quick form. In the field that says “TDEM WebEOC Incident ID” click 24-0014.
Reporting this information to the state of Texas does not guarantee financial assistance but helps the State gather information on where people have been affected. Additionally, if the state meets its Federal Damage threshold, across the state, they can request Federal Assistance.
All local Governments are requested to redistribute this information to their Communities.
